Workshop “On the way to a professorship”

“How do I become a professor?” Research group leaders at universities and non-university research institutions often face a multitude of questions when it comes to their next career step on the way to a professorship. The aim of this workshop offered by the GfG is to provide information and advice for a successful appointment to a professorship in Germany. Experienced professors from the GfG will be available for one day in an informal atmosphere for questions, advice, networking (mentoring) and personal discussions.

• The trial lecture (Prof. Dr. Sandra Hake, Justus Liebig University Giessen)
• The interview with the appointment committee (Prof. Dr. Reinhard Köster, TU Braunschweig)
