n March 12, 2025, the members of the GfG Board and Advisory Council met virtually for the first time in 2025. Important topics of the meeting included the planning of the upcoming annual conference "Epigenetics & Chromatin" in Giessen in September 2025, the call for applications for the Elisabeth-Gateff Prize 2025, and the workshop "On the Way to a Professorship".

In addition to many other topics, a possible seminar series with geneticists from Africa was discussed.
